About OurVaya
For Black Entrepreneurs by Black Entreprenuers

OurVaya is a structured record of entrepreneurial journeys built under constraint, documenting how individuals navigated limitations. It is built for those pursuing ownership who have reached a wall, where effort is no longer the question but direction is, and what exists here is a record of what was done. Across these journeys, patterns begin to emerge, revealing where limits were real and where movement was still possible. Strategy over imitation. The record is there for those willing to use it.
What Is OurVaya
OurVaya is both a record and a way of engaging with it. It documents entrepreneurial journeys in detail—how they began, the decisions that shaped them, and the outcomes that followed—so they can be approached as paths rather than stories. These paths are not fixed; they can be searched, revisited, and compared across a growing archive, allowing patterns to surface over time rather than being imposed upfront.
To move beyond observation, the platform introduces moments of interaction—situations where decisions must be made and consequences unfold. Through scenarios drawn from real historical moments, users step into the uncertainty before outcomes are known, testing their judgment against what actually happened. Progress is tracked, work compounds, and credentials can be earned—marking not just completion, but demonstrated understanding.
Across the system, the record expands outward. Access to capital is mapped through a growing network of providers, filtered by stage, geography, and track record. Patterns across journeys become visible through aggregated analysis—revealing how barriers appeared, how they were navigated, and where outcomes converged or diverged. The result is a platform that can be studied, navigated, and returned to—where each interaction adds to a clearer view of what it takes to build.
